This artwork has been in development for months. I stopped working on it several times, mostly because of my job and my ever changing moods. Thus it has been going through a lot of re-works.

Starting with the face, it was based on a screen cap from one episode of the "Cold Case" TV series. I obtained the original from BrandonRouth.com. The face was done separately. I did my best to make it look as real as possible. One thing i couldn't seem to achieve is to avoid the "blank stare" effect, especially on the eyes part. Brandon looks a bit off-focus here, i don't know - what do you think? Hopefully i can improve my skill on that part in the future.

If you notice, both hands were taken from Brandon's cover on the April edition of Entertainment Weekly. They were completely over-painted to meet a higher resolution quality.

The cape was re-done several times. It seems easy at first, but turned out it took quite a lot of efforts to make it look like as if it is flowing behind the body.

Compared to my previous works, this time i increased the contrast on the lighting in order to add more depth.
